Maria Chiara Cesarani joined Studio Torta in 2022. Previously she acted as General Counsel for Viasat Group S.p.A., holding of various Italian and European companies, she has worked with Clifford Chance at the Milan office.

She has a long experience in national and international contracts in the areas of intellectual property, civil, commercial and corporate law. She has been a member of the Turin Bar Association since 2014.

She has been an honorary professor of Merchandise Sciences at Università di Torino since 2014 as well as a teaching assistant of the Department of Management at the School of Management (SAA) in Turin for the course Labelling (food and non-food products) in the academic year 2021-2022. She has authored several publications on food labeling and customs.
