He joined the firm in 2014 and became a partner in 2021. Born in Germany, he studied at the University of California, San Diego.

He has conducted various research activities at the Max Planck Institute in Germany, the Niels Bohr Institute in Denmark, and the National Research Council (CNR) in Italy. He has worked for private companies, gaining significant experience as a technology consultant in the food, automation, materials, and biotechnology sectors, also specializing in patent research.

He teaches at the Fernfachhochschule (FFHS) in Switzerland, where he is responsible for the Intellectual Property course within the Master of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Innovation Management. He is a member of GRUR (The German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property) and in 2021 was appointed Ambassador for Italy of the CEIPI IP Business Academy. He is a member of the Europe desk of Studio Torta.
