He joined the firm in 2000 and became a partner in 2005. Graduated (with honors) in Industrial Chemistry at Università di Bologna, here he carried out a period of research in the field of organic chemistry. He has also a Certificate in Chemistry (with distinction) from the University of Sussex and a Master in Intellectual Property from Queen Mary University of London.

He has extensive experience with patents in the fields of mechanics, biomedicine, chemistry, industrial plants, pharmaceutics and biotechnology. He has lectured at seminars in several universities and organizations and is a member of AIPPI and FICPI.
