2019 confirms the constant increase of patent filings in Italy
In the year 2019, the number of patent applications in Italy saw a further increase, with over 10.000 applications (10.127). The same positive trend for patent validations deriving from European patents, increasing and reaching 44.547 filings, namely 4.995 more than in 2018. The number of granted patents in 2019 is also interesting: 8.816 registered patents.
